Makes interesting reading - what doesn't surprise me is the chinese buffet in Park Road, not going there again.

i am pleased i have never been to the chinese buffet, i was supposed to being going their with work somtime ago but for some reasion or another i was unable to make it,

Which i am very pleased about because my whole team of 10 that went all came down with an  upset tummy and the 5 other members that never went where ok...

That put me off going and then the reading in the Hartlepool Mail, Showed me that i would never ever ever even step into the chinese buffet.

The Blue Bell Inn, Newton Bewley, has been taken over by new management I understand.

We drove past it the other day and it was closed for refurbishment.

Maybe when it opens it will get itself out of the '0 out of 5 marks' in the Tees Valley Food Hygiene Award Scheme.

Hi HoSmile
Glad you mentioned that. We quite often went for a drive with the bairns and called in there! Seems quite ill fated that place. Years ago we paid a one off fee of £20 to get offers off drinks and meals etc....it burnt down a few weeks later!Shocked
Seems a shame about the 'scores on the Doors' thing too.
Used to be quite a good venue for the littluns to play.

I went there when it was a nightclub, when I was a kid myself!LOL
